NTA will release JEE Main 2022 Answer key for B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Plan exam for all phases. Candidates can download the answer key from the official website i.e. https://jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can use their application number and DOB or password to check the JEE Main 2022 question paper and answer keys. The authority will first release the preliminary answer key for students to raise objections if any. If aspirants are not satisfied with the answer key, may challenge the same by paying INR 200 fee per question. No challenge will be accepted without receipt of the processing fee.
The final JEE Main answer key PDF will contain Question ID and Correct question ID for all three sections of JEE Main Question Paper. Using JEE Main answer key candidates can predict their score by cross-checking correct and incorrect responses.

The steps that applicants must take in order to download the JEE Main 2022 NTA answer key are as follows:
- Visit the NTA's official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- In this box, click the link to the JEE Main 2022 answer key.
- Candidates must now submit their JEE Main application number and date of birth.
- When you press the submit button, the JEE Main 2022 answer key will show on the screen.

How to Challenge JEE Main 2022 Answer Key?
Candidates will also be able to file objections against responses in the NTA JEE Main answer key 2022 that they believe are incorrect, while presenting evidence to back up their claim. The experts will review the issues mentioned, and adjustments to the JEE Main final answer key may be made.

- Click on the link to ‘challenges regarding answer key’.
- Candidates now are required to log in using their application number and password.
- The JEE Main answer key shall contain the question ID as well as the ID with a correct option for both papers 1 and 2.
- In case there seems to be some error, candidates can challenge the question by selecting one or more IDs.
- Now click on ‘Save your claim’ and click on next.
- Question ID so challenged shall appear on the screen.
- Candidates now are required with the necessary documents in support of their claim.
- They have to upload the same in pdf form and click on the ‘Choose file’ button shown on the screen.
- The next step requires candidates to pay the processing fee of Rs 200 for each question thus objected against. Payment can be done through credit card/ debit card/ net banking.
Note: Candidates should be aware that the processing fee is refundable, and candidates whose claims are found to be relevant and so recognized by the authorities have the processing money reimbursed to them. Furthermore, no claim will be entertained for candidates who raised objections but did not pay the applicable processing cost.

JEE Main 2022 Results – Steps to Calculate
- The JEE Main 2022 Result is calculated in the form of a percentile NTA score for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and a combined score.
- The NTA scores are obtained by the process of normalization, using the raw score gained by the candidates.
- The following formula is used to obtain the NTA score-
- The NTA scores of candidates in JEE Main exam will be used to compute the ranks.
- The AIR and the scores obtained in Joint Entrance Exam have a direct relationship i.e. higher the scores, better the rank in JEE Main.
- In case, two or more candidates score equal marks, then the tie-breaking rule or inter-se-merit will be applicable.
- The tie-breaking rule is a criterion on which the candidate for higher rank will be selected if there is a tie or equivalence between marks of two candidates.
- Usually, this does not affect the rank or percentile of a candidate by a huge degree.
